FAT LOSS TIP 8/20
"Your Sunday Ritual"
If
you’re going to be successful with your fat loss goals, you need to
implement this daily ritual. You need to plan and cook many
of your meals on Sunday.
How can you find the time? How can you
not. By planning
out your meals for the coming week and cooking in advance,
you’ll avoid many of the pitfalls that occur with trying to
eat healthy…eating fast food! Most of my patients
know that eating convenience foods such as fast food,
microwaveable meals, and other types of “junk food” is the
downfall to them dieting properly.
IMPLEMENTATION: Plan out at least five days of
the week (M-F).
For example, you know that you’ll need five chicken breasts for the
coming week to put on salads and other meals. Grill (if it’s nice outside) or
cook up those chicken breasts for the coming
week. Chicken
tastes great reheated and should be a staple in any ongoing
diet that should ultimately become your
lifestyle.
Next time we’ll discuss the 10% rule. This should be your favorite rule
if you’re trying to lose weight.
